30 Days to a New You ~ Day 9

Hello Lovelies,

Here’s tip 9 of 30 Days to a New You! I have to admit that for the past few years, I’ve been feeling absolutely amazing about aging. To be honest, I even daydream about being a grandmother because I remember how amazing my grandmother was and can’t wait to be that amazing and wise of a woman.

Every year I feel like I am a better version of myself; more aware, more conscious, more experienced, more wordly and more of who I’m meant to be!   My birthdays just around a corner and I can’t wait to begin my 29th year. I look forward to sharing more of myself with what I hope will become a community of women all striving to be their most AMAZING selves.

TIP 9: STOP WORRYING SO MUCH

So here’s one we all struggle with, myself included. It is so easy to worry about things we have no control over. My goal for today is to stop worrying. Worrying takes you out of your zone of positivity and I’ve found once I let worry take over, things just have a habit of turning from bad to worse. There is no point in fretting! It takes the joy out of today and certainly does not make the stress or burdens of tomorrow disappear.

So, “DON’T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF BECAUSE IN THE END IT’S ALL SMALL STUFF”

30 Days to a New You – Tip 8

Hello Lovely People,

Here’s tip 8 of 30 Days to a New You! I hope you’ve been finding some use for these tips. For me, simply writing and thinking about each tip has helped me focus on the lessons that I have learnt and taken from all of my life experiences. Each experience is a valuable learning experience purposely and purposefully put in our lives to help us grow and become more of who we were meant to be. If we look at life as a series of lessons designed to teach us something that we really need to learn and understand, then our lives suddenly begin to make much more sense.

Here’s a quick recap of the first seven tips:

Tip 1: Get Rid of People that Compromise Your Happiness

Tip 2: Understand that Money Does not Make the Woman/Man

Tip 3: Stop Letting Others Bring You Down to their Level

Tip 4: Take Risks and Don’t Be Afraid of Making Mistakes

Tip 5: Stop Focusing on What You Don’t Want to Happen

Tip 6: Don’t Take the Easy Way Out

Tip 7: Stop Pretending

TIP 8: REALIZE THAT THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND YOU

Many of us go through life assuming that other peoples actions and words have something to do with us. We take things personally and often get upset by what we think others are saying or doing to us. Realize that the world does not revolve around you and often peoples’ actions and words are a reflection of their own issues and experiences and have nothing to do with you. Stop taking things so personally. Focus on yourself and continue to grow into who you were meant to be.

30 Days to a New You – Tip 7

Hello Lovely People,

Here’s tip 6 of 30 Days to a New You! Today’s tip is about being authentic. Many of us have the “I AM STRONG” syndrome. We believe that we must appear as if we have it all together, all the time. But that is not real, it is not a true reflection of your most authentic self. The truth is we all have our flaws and moments of weakness, so stop pretending like everything is fine! It’s exhausting and emotionally damaging.

TIP 7:  STOP PRETENDING

Stop pretending like things are perfect! What’s the point? Everyone has issues and problems so there’s no need to act like everything is fine all the time. Don’t be concerned with what others think because it doesn’t really matter in the end! Beauty comes from strength but true strength doesn’t come from never admitting to failure or mistakes. It comes from learning from our experiences, falling and picking ourselves back up and being secure enough to risk being vulnerable.
